MADE IN FARM

Mirt is a brand created by a couple of farmers, Ângela and Luís. In 2011 they gave up their life in Porto and went to the countryside with the dream of living closer to nature.

In Covas, in the village where the ring bells every half an hour, the couple had a family home and lands where they decided to develop an agricultural project that would give life to fields that had been forgotten. They chose to produce blueberries due to it´s miraculous properties.

Over these years, the couple has realized that this fruit has an increase demand, but unfortunately they could not satisfy people's desire of eating blueberries throughout the year, as it is a seasonal product.

The couple decided to dehydrate and transform the blueberries, so that customers can enjoy it for twelve months a year.

​

This is how Mirt came into existence, a brand of products specialized in blueberries.

All products are a unique moment of intense flavor, resulting from the alliance between tradition and innovation. There is a constant attempt to go further and serve customers more than a healthy food or meal. Mirt seeks to offer an experience with soul.
